Where to Buy Welsh items

The picture is from the Penny Cox series. Penny has an entire series of "George the Goose"
visiting REAL cottages throughout Wales and the U.K. If you'd like more information on
Penny's pictures, email us below. (See George on the step?)

A word about shops that sell Welsh items. In the U.S. there are two major ones,
one on the West Coast, one on the East Coast. Each has different items. In the past,
the firm of "Celtic Alternatives" had bought out the "Siani Flewog" stock. Since then,
the "Harp and Dragon" has bought the stock of "Celtic Alternatives". With the web,
it is easy to visit either David Morgan's site or Anne Habermehl's. David and Anne
vist Wales regularly and have a real "ear to the ground" to stay current.

If you know of any other U.S. shops or artists who sell direct, please let us know. We have a list of shops in Wales, but for an American it may be too hard to purchase unless they are on the net. An example of an easy shop to buy from is the "Flagmakers" in Swansea. Their site is listed on our selection page. We get many e-mails requesting where to buy Welsh/Celtic items. Many times we will have to give a shop in Wales, or a specialty artist in the U.S. Let us know your requests. The freight can be very expensive on heavy shipments from Wales. Either David or Anne may be able to help you purchase that "special" item.

Don't forget to order those wonderful cook books - see "Recipes"
